Send an email to info@broadwayva.gov or call Town Hall at (540) 896-5152 with the following information:

Deadline to Enter is Wednesday, December 18.

By submitting an application, participants agree to have their home photographed and release the use of photographs and address for publicity purposes in the Town of Broadway publications. The Town of Broadway will create an address directory to be published on the Town website and social media pages for the People’s Choice Award.

Details:
All homes within the Town of Broadway limits are eligible. Entries will be judged based on curbside appeal only. Decorations are evaluated on creativity, appearance, and effort. Judges are new every year and are from outside the northern Rockingham County area. The People’s Choice Award will be judged by any spectator wishing to participate beginning Friday, December 20 through Sunday, December 22. Spectators will pick up an address directory and scoring sheet at the Dropbox at Town Hall (116 Broadway Avenue). Once judging is complete, spectators will place their scoring sheets back in the Dropbox at Town Hall. There will be no online voting. Official judging will take place on Sunday, December 22, starting at 6PM. Participants’ lights and displays will need to be on the weekend of December 20-22, with the official judging taking place from 6-9PM on December 22. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 23. Official judging schedule subject to change due to inclement weather. Please watch for email communications throughout judging weekend.

Winners will be selected by judges in the following categories (a home can only win one category):

• Creative Cheer – Let your creativity shine with a fun theme or interactive display. This award recognizes the most creative and imaginative homes in Broadway (judged December 22).
• Classic Christmas – Who doesn’t love the classics? This award recognizes the nostalgic Christmas decorations that we all know and love (judged December 22).
• Incredible Inflatables – Inflatables are a great way to share your favorite Christmas stories and characters. This award recognizes the best inflatable display in town (judged December 22).
• People’s Choice Award – Which house brings the most smiles to people’s faces? This award recognizes the majority vote of spectators (judged December205 – December 22).
